Today STC Kraków began what we hope is a long term commitment to one of the largest homeless shelters in Kraków. This shelter currently has over 200 men, and 5 women living here in community. There are many real tangible needs, from light bulbs and heating to help in maintenance and tutoring. Additionally there are some very large needs, such as a stair-lift for people with mobility limitations and a fully equipped kitchen. Today we accessed and created a long list of needs that we can begin to create projects to bring in volunteers and other resources.
We hope that our future business and corporate partners will be inspired to tangibly put their corporate social responsibility programs into action to help these kinds of organizations that provide basic needs to their fellow citizens. Help us cross the line and bring dignity to all.
